It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Romanian Robotic & Metabolic Surgery Days 2026, held under the theme “Bringing Better Care to All.”

It became a tradition for the two professional associations, RAES and RSMS to organize successful joint events dedicated to exploring how innovation in robotic, minimally invasive and metabolic surgery can translate into broader, responsible and sustainable access to high-quality surgical care.

RRMSD 2026 will bring together surgical teams, multidisciplinary care specialists, distinguished national and international experts to discuss the scientific, medical and educational aspects as well as the organizational pathways that enable advanced surgical and non-surgical therapies to move beyond selected centers and become more widely integrated into clinical practice.

The scientific program will highlight evidence-based approaches, emerging technologies and modern therapeutical strategies as well centers’ experience aiming to improving the patient outcomes. Through expert lectures, case-based discussions and hands-on educational sessions, the meeting will provide a rigorous platform for knowledge exchange, professional development and meaningful collaboration.

Emphasis will be placed on advanced robotic-assisted surgical techniques with their extended range of indications on various pathologies while the International Symposium of Bariatric and Metabolic will focus on the actual programs in the context of obesity management medication (OMM) strengthening multidisciplinary cooperation and ensuring that innovation translates into tangible benefits for a broader patient population.
